What is UF-ET?

UserFriendly Enemy Territory refers to a first-person shooter videogame, the UFies who play it, and the server we play it on.

We chose Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory as Our Game because:

• It's Free (Not "free"; Free)
• It runs on the Big Three OSs: Linux, Windows, and Macintosh
• It's a relatively old game, and so it will run on many systems. (Don't get put off by this, it still can be outrageously fun!)

There are often games between six and eight days each week (exclusive). Most larger games happen in the evening hours of the United States, but one will occasionally crop up during the day due to UF's European denizens.

You can use the links below to navigate to the various resources available for UF:ET players, but to get started quickly, download and install the game, patches and maps, then join up at wolfet.uf-et.org. (See the wiki for the password.)
